Calendar and Seasons:

The measuring of the seasons was mastered and recorded long ago by the Druids of old. Their teachings were passed down, and then later picked up by the conquering Lovasi. Soon, the Druid Calendar spread as far and fast as the Lovasi themselves, believed by most cultures of the world to be the superior way of organizing the year.

There are four seasons. Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Each season contains three stages, Rise, Wayk, and Fell. Each stage contains a set amount of days. Every fourth year, an extra day is added to the Fell of Summer. Across Ardura and most of Edura, that day is known as Summerfell, or Kelson’s Day.

Spring

Rise of Spring = 30 days

Wayk of Spring =  31 days

Fell of Spring = 30 days

Summer

Rise of Summer = 30 days

Wayk of Summer = 31 days

Fell of Summer = 30 days (Summerfell, every fourth year = 31 days)

Autumn

Rise of Autumn = 30 days

Wayk of Autumn = 31 days

Fell of Autumn = 30 days

Winter

Rise of Winter = 30 days

Wayk of Winter = 31 days

Fell of Winter = 31 days
